In the Spring of 2018 we added a new barn to the farm.
This beautiful barn adds 6 stalls, will have an office and meeting area, and a large storage area. Center Hill Barns built this bright, airy barn in a record 6 weeks to meet our very tight deadline.
They were wonderful to work with. We are in the process of replacing the fencing in the back portion of the farm.
What should be a reasonably difficult project is actually an extremely difficult project due to the number of rocks on our farm! The project is moving along and the Woodguard Fencing looks very nice and very sturdy.
We will never be quite finished with our projects on the farm, but isn't that how it always goes!!
We continue to to make improvements to our beautiful farm and are so happy to get to share those changes with our boarders, students, and competitors who come to the shows.
In
the S
ummer of 2017, we were fortunate enough to acquire the original well house from the farm located at the spot which is now the Country Spririt Restaurant.
I first saw the gazebo when we bought the farm and visited the restaurant shortly after. The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted it for our judges booth at the outdoor arena.
It took 3 1/2 years, but it was finally delivered and has been a lovely addition to the farm!
In December of 2015, I was fortunate enough to spend a few weeks in Florida training on a Grand Prix horse with Pam Goodrich!
This was not just any Grand Prix, it was the infamous Lamborghini, aka, Zoomie!
Dressage Today magazine had just written an article about Zoomie called, "The Horse of a Lifetime" and I got to ride him! It was amazing and inspiring, both as a rider, trainer, and instructor.
Being totally immersed in the Florida dressage scene watching, lessons, riding, going to watch high level shows, it was truly an experience of a lifetime!!
